The Wayside Inn

"This is our second visit to The Wayside Inn and not the last. Lovely setting. Friendly staff. Stay in the inn itself ( not the annex) for true White Mountains rustic charm. Our room (#9) was spacious, very clean and quiet. Good bed, slept well. We recommend having dinner at the inn. Delicious. Breakfast was also very good. Main Street Bethlehem is a very short drive away. Quaint, a great Colonial Theater, and a great ice cream place."
Allegory Inn

"You can tell the owners take great pride in what they are providing for their guests. The Allegory is a sweet older home turned inn. We stayed on the top floor (3rd) which is a suite with bedroom, bath, kitchenette and living space with pullout couch. They had thoughtful amenities in the bathroom and it was clean. Cute New Hampshire vibe with antiques and bear theme. Coffee and continental breakfast in kitchen is casual and help yourself. Owners are working hard on updates around the inn and it is clear they are committed to making it a great experience for their guest. Also convenient to area activities including the Cog Railway, which is a must if you’re in the area. We would definitely stay at Allegory again and highly recommend it."

"We had a wonderful stay at Mt. Jefferson View! The location is beautiful, with gorgeous mountain views and such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The property also has a playground, which is a great bonus for families with children. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the White Mountains!"

"Overall, we had a good stay at the hotel. We stayed for one night with 3 adults and 1 child. The only disappointing things were the pool, which was advertised as heated but the water was pretty cold, the bathtub that wouldn’t hold water, and the shower pressure, which was very weak. Other than those issues, everything was good and we enjoyed our stay."

"We had a two bedroom cabin that match the photos. The place was clean, quiet and on really nice property. The property manager was very nice and gave us some local information. If I am back in the area I would definitely stay here again."

"The cottage was clean, roomy, and equipped with everything we needed (and more!). It was comfortable and the decor has lots of charming details. We had wonderful weather, but had it been rainy out we would have been cozy and well-entertained anyway. We didn’t even get to the jigsaw puzzles or video collection. We paddled the kayaks out onto the pond one morning to enjoy the foliage amidst a bit of mist and it was serene and beautiful — it was great to be able to easily do that. Communication with the hosts was easy and we didn’t need much of it — they had already thought of everything. Would definitely stay there again."
