“Expedia listed the square footage of the room as 560 ft.² but the room was probably less than 100 sq ft. It was false advertising and I was very upset. I reported it to the man who worked there and he said he was contacting Expedia about it but nothing was done about it and he never called me back. Also, there was no mattress pad on the bed just a sheet. Also in the pictures they show a small grassy area with a picnic table, but that’s only available if you book the garden room. I wasn’t……

“The property is a 200 year old property that has been renovated over the years. More akin to a B&B. Our room was very comfortable. the bed was a little creaky but we were exhausted and slept well. It worked well in a pinch. The proprietor, Edwina, was great.”

Our room was spotless, and the entire estate was beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We felt very secure throughout our stay. “I stayed here to attend a wedding nearby. The staff helped me locate the property (wedding goers had parked in front of the sign and hidden it). I had booked a single room and it was ideal for one person. Shower room spacious and worked well.”

While some tables were served, we were not and this was unclear. The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely bathroom. However, the room temperature was excessively high.
