Jubilee Gardens, Wiveliscombe "The gardens were opened in 1977 ... to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II's Silver Jubilee. Now part of The Wiveliscombe Heritage Arts Trail, they were updated in 2004 by the addition of very fine sculpted gates and innovatively carved oak seats ... The Gates: Bristol-based sculptor, Steve Joyce, began by taking plaster hand-casts from a wide variety of local people aged between five and ninety. I stay here 2 or 3 times a month and it seems i'm charged a different amount month, sometimes for parking, sometimes discounted parking, this last time they wanted an additional hold on my card and worse of all.. No cookies in my room this time! The cookies are awesome usually!

Beautiful place surrounded by nature
Me and my partner had a good stay at the Pond Cottage.The kitchen is extremely well equipped and stocked.Rooms are very tidy and homely feeling. Bathroom is clean and pleasant to use.We didn't explore the surroundings but the small animals around the farm were very pleasant to watch from the house. ...
