“We really enjoyed our stay, so peaceful and calming, the trees blowing in the wind around us was a calming lovely sound. Our only issue was the kettle leaking every time you poured a drink and the fitted sheet was not big enough for the bed as soon as got on the bed it came off the mattress when trying to put back on you could get one side down but it pulled it away from other end so bigger fitted sheet and definitely deeper fit other than this it was amazing and just what we needed ”

“Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohlgefühlt, seht nettes Cottage ideal für zwei Personen. Toller Ausgangspunkt, um die Gegend zu Fuß oder per Rad zu entdecken, herrliche Ruhe, auch wenn man dem Trubel in Whitby entfliehen möchte. Etwas mehr Ausstattung an Geschirr in der Küche wäre wünschenswert, wenn man so wie wir gerne selbst kocht!”

“Good: The hotel is well located and impressive in its public areas. All the staff are friendly and polite The breakfast is very good Not so good: The room itself was not too impressive. The room was stuffy, safe didn’t work, and the shower was a trickle. Overall location 10 out of 10 so if you are out and about exploring York all day and arriving/departing by train it would be good choice. If you want to relax in your room then I would recommend a different room category or another hotel. ”
