The staff were great, room was a little disappointing as our balcony was just above the roof and view was blocked by the domed roof of the entertainment area. Also the air con didnt work very well, it just seemed to move the hot air around but the temp in October was bareable.
The hotel in general was a little worn out. Just small things like the grouting, light switches, socket outlets. Definitely 1st world issues though!

Room very clean, staff friendly and fantastic breakfast.
Our Penthouse was very spacious with fantastic views. Reduced a star however as the reason I opted for a Penthouse was to take advantage of the jacuzzi.
However, for our entire stay we weren’t able to use it. Handyman attempted to help us on the first night but both the jacuzzi streams and temperature (either cold, luke walm or boiling) made it intolerable. A real shame and a dampener on our holiday as both me and my wife were looking forward to using it.
Other than that, would recommend the hotel but be wary if you are also looking to opt for a room with the Jacuzzi (with a considerable premium)

I have stayed here quite a few times over the years and this hotel is great value for money in a good location for travelling around the island. The staff are very professional and do there upmost to make your stay enjoyable, the breakfast is exceptional and great value for money. Highly recommend you stay here if visiting Malta.

7 steps to reach the hotel lobby but guy at the desk was nice and helped me with my bags. At 74, I cannot carry heavy bags up/down steps. As I was there for only 7 hours to catch a flight home, not the best judge but staff was very nice. Malta is a happening town, even at 3:30am and the hotel is well located.

Spotless large room with separate large shower,hotel is 10 minutes walk from Sliema promenade . Staff are great , excellent check in and had a meal in the hotel pub , fish and chips which was excellent . There is 2 swimming pools apparently one indoors and one on the rooftop which i missed because of my accident.
Downside was i only was there for 2 of my 5 night stay as i was hospitalised after a fall . The hotel was great in that they packed all my luggage and delivered it to the hospital the next day for free but lost one of my tablet chargers.
