Staff were lovely - Facilities aged and could do with some TLC. Bed was horrible had to get a few massages as a result and couldn’t sleep through the night due to it.

Stayed in the two bedroom villa with family. Was great to be able to stay in the same villa but have separate rooms. The private pools and access to the lagoon behind (only accessible to villas) was truly incredible. The service throughout the entire resort was amazing, very attentive and the butler service included with the villa stay made our stay that much better. While some of the things around the resort required some maintenance such as the shower heads near the beach almost everything else was well-maintained and very clean.
While many beaches around Bali are known for having litter and debris on the beach, the beach was very well maintained and clean throughout the area. The beach was within walking distance from our villa and they provide beach towels and loungers for all guests. There were QR codes at each lounger for ease of ordering and there are staff walking around to take your order. Alternatively, you can walk to the beach bar for a drink/food.
We also used the spa at the resort and it was wonderful. Staff were amazing, very professional and everything was very hygienic.
You can tell the staff take pride in their work and really put the effort in to make the guests have a great experience. Without question would stay here again, especially in the villa.

The whole place was a manicured oasis. Very impressive but staff members Arya (Jnr) and Dewar were amazing to us. Nothing was any trouble, sometimes they just stopped for a chat and helped us undedrstand about Balinese culter by answering our questions. First time at the Padma and I'm already trying to switch my July 2026 accomodation to go back to the Padma. Thanks for a great stay.

The spa was cold water , no ocean view as pictured or described on expedia a room was in a bottom corner that looked to a set of stairs the expedia description gave the impression that all rooms were raised or terraced, this was poor representation from expedia.

Hotel is fab. Breakfast is excellent. A mix of Balinese and western and lovely fresh fruit. Rooms are well appointed and beds comfy w nice white linens. Pool is big and beautiful (closes early 8:15pm during my stay Jan). The beach is steps away and they have loungers - so no need to rent a chair! Beach has a lot of surfing so it can be a bit rough for swimming. No rocks just sugar soft sand. The hotel is a bit dated but that didn’t bother me one bit. It’s cozy and has everything you need. Service staff were excellent though every touch point. There is lots around - including a well appointed convenience store across the street and shops and restaurants a short walk (or quick Gojek ride! Try it!) I highly recommend. I would definitely stay again!

Am conflicted about this review. I would definitely recommend people stay here. At check in I’m pretty sure we were forgotten. There were many people checking in at 2pm (recommend come much earlier or much later). We were told to wait in the lounge for 10 minutes. After more than half an hour I went to check with reception. There was no other guests there and they served me straight away though I wonder if anyone would have come back to get us. Upside is that I accidentally booked a twin and they happily converted to king.
As a couple on our 50s with no children I wouldn’t stay here again. It is very well suited as a family resort and there were many families there. The traditional Balinese style buildings and rooms were lovely. We appreciated our anniversary surprise very much. All the staff were very accomodating. Lots of options at the buffet breakfast.
I would definitely recommend for others, and we had a pleasant experience just wasn’t our ideal accomodation.
