“Mary was an amazingly sweet and gracious host for known reasons. Very kind and humbling. The motifs for every room and area was wonderfully eclectic and so much fun. Lastly, no way you can beat the proximity to the Barter unless you sleep on the front steps of the theatre. Lovely stay. We love Abingdon! ”

“The house was very clean. Tastefully decorated, making it feel very cozy. Felt like staying over at a friends house. Nice, quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again.”

“We had zero hot water the entire stay. Every guest had to take freezing cold showers. Not only was the water freezing, neither shower drained properly so we had to stand in other people’s shower water.”

“If you’re looking for privacy, this isn’t the place to book an escape… Host is very friendly, but also lingers outside close to the rental after dark and at random times which was very uncomfortable for us as we felt like our space was invaded. She also waited for us in the driveway to greet us and conversate, we prefer no contact with hosts, maybe that’s just us though. If we wanted all that we’d have stayed at a bed and breakfast.THERE IS A TRAIN VERY CLOSE TO THE PROPERTY THAT RUNS OFTEN AN……
