"This was such a cute little place tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Our family stayed the weekend of the 50th anniversary of Expo '74 and Bloomsday and could not have been more in love with this. We decided to take Lyfts downtown and pickups were easy from the street and quick to downtown. Groceries and Restaurants are many and within a 10min drive. You get the feel of the old time cottage history with all modern updates and comforts. Mari was very responsive and an awesome host. Thank you!"

While there was only one of me, since there are 2 seaparate bedrooms plus the sitting area in the room with the coffee bar, would be quite comfortable for a couple plus a child or another adult."

"Everything was great! We had a small family reunion, and ran in the Bloomsday race, which we last participated in 30 years ago! As we had a one year old, (and we flew in); we needed a pack and play, which we bought and left at the house for future guests who may need one. It would’ve been nice to have also had a high chair!"

This was a great place for our weekend this year, as we were able to walk all over downtown on Saturday, plus ate all our meals in the Kendall Yard area. Very satisfied with our vacation home."

"Travelled for my daughter’s graduation, every step of the way was very smooth. Our host accommodated and answered any questions that I had in real time. On the day of check-out, we woke up to a flat tire, I reached to our host and explained my predicament, our check out time was extended and were able to get another vehicle while the other was towed away. "The Blue Bungalow is a special place. Loren and Hilary have done a fantastic job making their home so welcoming with a lot of cool touches. The backyard is so peaceful and outdoor patio perfect for a small celebration. The home gives you a sense of whimsey and fun. We felt right at home and our pup did not want to leave. Our stay was perfect."

"This was the perfect solution for a comfortable setting to prepare for my daughter’s surgery and to recover enough to travel back to our hometown. The hosts were kind and caring and incredibly generous when post operative complications made an extra days stay necessary. Communication was excellent as well. What a darling home! Although the house is a bit dated, it had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The neighborhood is also very quiet. I would recommend this house to any large group!"
