"Had no issues checking in. Service by all staff was exceptional for sure. Although, the hotel charges € 1.50 per day for the use of the safe. Honestly, when you are charging as much as they are, why be petty with such an insignificant amount. Bad PR. It should be free as well as at least a bottle of water. "

"Five star property geared towards adults, lives up to its reputation of cleanliness, comfort, and luxury. The grounds are beautifully maintained and well landscaped. There are 6 outdoor swimming pools with an abundance of lounge chairs, umbrellas and daybeds- no need to reserve. Beach access with a lovely boardwalk from the hotel to the beach. The hotel has been renovated and is exceptionally clean. The only improvement would be the restaurant service. Though the food was very good, the service was extremely slow and unorganized. I would highly recommend. Lovely friendly staff. "

We also spent some time at the spa, which was nothing short of perfection. From the ambiance to the quality of treatments, it was a top-tier wellness experience. The on-site restaurants were also excellent. Each meal we had was flavorful and beautifully presented, with a variety of options that catered to both local and international palates. One important note for future guests: the hotel is located in the countryside, so it’s a good 30–45 minutes by car to the coastal Algarve towns and beaches. A rental car is definitely recommended if you plan to explore beyond the resort. "Great little hotel on the edge of old town. Breakfast is available for purchase but the Pastelaria across the street is amazing…don’t miss out on the pastel de nata and espresso! Everything is completely walkable and we had the best time there! Faro is small town friendly and we’ve never felt safer walking streets and back alleys at night. Take the tuk tuk tour to get an overview of the area and pay attention to the guide…he was a living history book and we had a great idea of what we wanted to see and in what order afterwards. Faro was amazing, you won’t regret your visit or this hotel. "

"Area outside resort at night didn’t like "

"It is a beautiful and scenic hotel with wonderful views that is large enough to find quiet spaces if you are an adult without kids but also seems to accommodate children very well. Breakfast is excellent and the staff at the hotel are friendly and attentive. The concierge Ines was so helpful if arranging boat excursions, dinner reservations and car rentals. The property is walking distance to town and also to many other beaches. An excellent choice for staying in this area"
