“The cottage was really cute and clean. Plenty of towels. My daughter kept in touch with the staff for me. It did have a fireplace which was not needed for our stay but fall hit soon after we left. There was not a kitchen but did have a mini fridge and microwave. We spent time at Fort Davis National Historic Site, Balmorhea State Park, actually saw the Marfa lights, and the McDonald Observatory. Definitely recommend!”

“The property is convenient to Big Bend. We stayed 2 nights. Check-In is at 4pm which is a little inconvenient. Our room was across Highway 118 from the main lobby where ice is located. We were not aware of this until check in. We had not hot water upon arrival. The clerk at the front desk said that the water has to run 10 minutes to get hot. It was warm after that.
