The house has been renovated with all the modern fixtures and amenities, but they managed to retain the charm of the old farmhouse. “What an interesting and beautiful place! We were in Aurora for a family wedding, with relatives spread throughout the village—including several staying at the Inn. Of all the accommodations, those who had the pleasure of stopping by "the church" couldn’t stop raving about it. Many agreed it was an incomparable treasure that truly outclassed every other place.The owners have done a remarkable job reimagining this 1870s church. “The house was clean, very comfortable, and located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Most of our stay was well spent enjoying the private beach area and refreshing Cayuga Lake. The lakefront is a short stroll across the quiet road and down a number of steps but is well worth it for the large private waterfront. Our dogs had the best time and were exhausted by the second day of our stay. We would consider this property again for future vacations.”

“Place is in a great location to explore the area. Very quiet street and the house is tucked right along the bank of the lake. Having the dock and outdoor patio was so nice! The stairs to access are no joke, so pack light if you can. The house is simply appointed but cozy and comfortable, decent kitchen and bathroom. Only complaint is the cobwebs and dust in the hard to reach areas, but otherwise clean enough. Would go back for sure.”

“We had a great time staying here! Cabin was very cute, cozy and we loved the hot tub! Fenced in backyard was great for my 3yr old to run around in without having to worry about him leaving my sight! Location is perfect! Secluded just enough that you don’t feel like you’re alone in the middle of the woods, but you still have privacy! And the daily breakfast is a perfect touch! “The property was super cute. The hot tub was a great addition. The beds were very comfortable. The only downside was the lack of storage for clothes and toiletries if you are an over-packer like us.
