“Staff was amazing, and communication during and after booking was excellent. The building (built in 1830) was excellently maintained, and furnishings/decor struck the perfect balance between period and modern. The included breakfast was cooked and served in the upstairs dining room (former ballroom/meeting room). Parking was adequate and on site. The surrounding area was convenient and remote enough to be quiet, yet near necessities. The on site pub had excellent food and was reasonably……

“Restaurants close by, yes, shop with coffee, teas, pastries, sandwiches and other nibbles close by, yes. Low to no outside street noise, correct. Comfortable room, sizeable bath and dressing area, breakfast included that was different each day and satisfying, yes. Breakfast was served in a lovely glass enclosed morning room, so you look out at the greenery filled grounds while you eat. This is the place you want to return to at day's end after your adventures.
