"Sandy's location is excellent. Out of the crowded Galena area, but close enough for an easy drive over for the day (about 20 - 25min traffic based). Breakfast was delicious and different every morning - Sandy will work with your dietary restrictions - talk with her about it. The space was large - entire upstairs with it's own kitchen if you prefer to cook your other meals yourself. Deck is lovely with a great view - could hardly believe how many stars in the sky. "We found the Hornet Lodge met our needs for a visit to my hometown of Shullsburg WI. We appreciate that it accepts dogs. It was a comfortable place generally. The apartment lacked some critical items to warrant a completely positive review. The kitchen was very inadequate. The refrigerator needs repair/replacing.
