"We had a great stay at the Balsam Inn! Everyone put their hearts into giving folks a great experience. My husband says the dinner was the finest he ever had, and I appreciated all the little things that made our travel easier (ice for coolers, a shared frig, absolutely lovely and plentiful bedding). We would definitely stay there again!"

"We greatly enjoyed our stay at the lake house. This was our second time back. Check in process was easy. In communication it was good. The house is definitely quirky, but very charming. We loved having water access as well as kayaks available to use. The kitchen was well supplied. And the linens were nice and clean. The house definitely is showing some age andware, but definitely charming. Our only complaint was the lack of curtains and the fact that it seemed the floors had not been cleaned in quite some time."

"We booked this stay at the last minute due to an unexpected visit to see a sick relative, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. The photos truly don’t do this place justice—everything was fresh, clean, and beautifully updated.The living area was especially impressive, featuring a spacious, oversized sofa and a large smart TV with access to all the major streaming services—perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The beds were very comfortable, and we appreciated the individual bedroom air conditioning units. It was ideal for our group, as I tend to get warm while my 89-year-old in-laws prefer things cooler.Located close to the lake, this home is a perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy the area. Melissa, our host, was wonderful—she responded promptly to every question and made the entire experience seamless.We can’t wait to return soon. Highly recommended!"
