"Great location to venture out in your car to explore the many surrounding sites - Redwoods state park so very close by, and Santa Cruz and Capitola beaches within 30 min drive. It would have been nice to know if there were any hiking trails that we could access without getting in the car. Also, a couple of us had to work during the stay, and for those the furniture was a little lacking. No indoor dining room table to work from was a little challenging, but the wifi was good and strong so that was a plus. The kitchen appliances and supplies were outstanding, and thank you for the ample supply of spices, cooking oils, tea and coffee... wonderful!"
"1. Location - we came to visit Henry Cowell redwoods state park and this little house is 10 minutes drive away. There are also cute cafe shop and former grocery store, a great Japanese restaurant we discovered. Location is 10/10.2. Host welcoming - we received a cutest hand written note to welcome us to their house. 3. Cleanness - the place is meticulously clean and tidy when we arrived.4. Amenities - fully stacked with everything you will need or the stay. Set of towels in each room and full kitchen with everything you can imagine for your stay. 5. Check in instructions - they are in pictures and descriptions! Super easy to follow and full of humor. 6. Extra - The main entrance is through the master bedroom which I wasn’t clear from the description till we get there. 7. Overall - we had a great stay because the hosts care a great deal to provide the best possible for the guests. "
"Hii we enjoyed our stay but did have a couple issues. We didn’t have the code to get in when we got there and didn’t see it in the app or email communication so we had to call. Also the jacuzzi only got luke warm for us so it wasnt warm enough to enjoy in the cold. Otherwise the kitchen was very stalked and everything was nicely organized"
"If you're looking for a secluded nature-y get away with your furry friend, this checks the box. Pros:- Fully stocked kitchen. I was able to cooked meat and make soup. It was nice to have a dish washer. The sink was big as well.- Big TV. I have a Netflix account so I was able to sign in and watch Netflix at night in the living room with my dog. - Nice office space with large windows. Half of the windows were blocked by redwood trees but still nice to have the view of the forest.- Surrounded by fresh air and nature, lots of places to go for a stroll.Cons:- The pictures do look like the house in terms of layout and furnishing but don't quite look like the home as it's in need of a little bit TLC. Cracks and chips in paint, worn floors... the space doesn't look "like new" as the pictures. For me, it wasn't a big deal as the location and functionality was more important.- The kitchen didn't have a fume hood. You'll need to open the doors when you're cooking which unfortunately allowed mosquitos in. Other Comments:- I stayed in November so it was a bit chilly at night. The heater at the time was not working but the property stocked a portable heater which did the job. The bed are also quite warm. I prefer cold over hot so if you don't, this may be a bit cold for you.- Bathroom is quite small, may not be great for large/tall folks.- I have an anxious dog. Almost every house in the neighborhood has dogs. I couldn't really go walking with my dog without being barked at."
Ben Lomond Mediterranean Villa with full sun, spa, and spacious yard
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great time here! The backyard was lovely- we enjoyed having a fire in the fire pit, and the string lights were a nice touch. Joseph was very easy to communicate with. We had plenty of space, found everything we needed, and loved the peaceful location! "
