"Perfect location right in the city centre. Modern & clean with friendly staff. Unique layout due to the building it's in. NCP car park a couple of hundred metres away round the back, with generous discount scheme. Our only complaint was that the windows don't open at all. The A/C was efficient and quiet but avoid if you don't get on with this sort of setup."

"I’m just about to check out of this absolutely lovely hotel. It’s in a great location. Staff were some of the best in any hotel we’ve stayed in. Room is very nice. Bed extremely comfortable.. I slept like a baby! Great little touches like Elemis shower gel, shampoo and conditioner included. Coffee, tea and biscuits provided. I need to find myself some of those ‘bara brith’ biscuits. Being from England Ive not had them before, but they were delicious! Would definitely return here. Thanks for having us. "

"Bed was squeaky, no water pressure for the shower. Had to hold in hand to wash properly. Bathroom requires upgrade. Breakfast was very good and staff very friendly. Surroundings lovely. "

"Lovely over night stay enroute to Porthcawl for the Golf. Smart hotel in good location. Breakfast available but with Greggs & McDonald’s next door had a few options. No air conditioning- so it it was a hot night not sure how the room would feel as if you opened window it was noisy from road but the room had a fan. Nice place to stopover or stay longer if exploring the area. "

"Our room was really spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the bed itself was huge. There is a restaurant/ bar attached which served nice drinks and had a nice seating area outdoors. The staff were very welcoming and checking in and out was easy. We stayed in this hotel as we were attending a concert in the Principality Stadium. It was the perfect location for this as it was only a 15 minute walk from the hotel."

"Perfect venue for Castle events. Clean and wonderful staff. Good value. Outside doesn’t look that inviting but once inside a lovely entrance hall. Rooms had good amenities and a good view of the castle."

"After a 6 hour drive we arrive at rush jour to a lovely receptionist who instantly made us. Smile, the room was very clean and functional with a small but comfortable double and a single, we slept very well it was perfect for what we needed it was hot but the fan provided really helped "

"We had a family room for 2 nights. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. Despite reading some negative reviews complaining about noise, we were not disturbed. Check in was easy and free parking was brilliant. We chose to have breakfast included and it was very nice with a good selection. The location of the hotel is perfect- right by the seafront and pier. We all really enjoyed our stay. "

"Beautiful buildings and setting when you first arrive driving through the golf course. I had previously asked for an early check in as we were attending a wedding off site, however they did not manage that for us, so we stored our bags and checked in on our return from the wedding. Breakfast was very good on a very nice restaurant "

"Oh my word what a gem we have found, this hotel blew our socks off,even thing about it was just perfect, from the opulence of the colours and materials of the furnishings to the reminders of what the hotel was as used as through the years. "No food options, but was a room with microwave in you could heat some food in. Didnt bother me as we ate out anyway. Bed was very comfortable. We came back to the apartment at around 9pm. We watched a film on the tv (netflix already logged in), which was a very pleasent surprise. We had a beautiful view from the balcony. Was so nice to wake up to of a morning. Overall cleanliness wasnt the best but not that bad that we couldnt stay, we didnt take much notice. Only encountered one member of staff, the man who checked us in. He was lovely and helpful. We would stay again. Cheap ane cheerful. "

"Il start with the bad bit.i waz travelling on my own & was very tired & hot i had booked this hotel because it said it had free parking. After driving around in circles for 20/30 mins i tried to ring hotel no answer i tried about 20 times by now i was so upset and wanted to go home.i found a place to park & walked to the hotel. The lady/owner was lovely explained how to get to carpark. SO my suggestion is for that to be on the booking forms.my room was amazing it was spotless bed so comfortable. There was one problem that the people useing the shared shower room was righf next yo my room the banging was so annoying & i have ptsd so not great also people dont seam to be able to shut a door without banging it.if maybe the wall next to the shower room was soundproofed it would realy help. To be honest its not realy the host thats at fault just shellfish people. "

"I'm in a wheelchair so requested an accessible room. One of the best/most accessible rooms i've stayed in. There is a big wide ramp out front with plenty of disabled parking. Room was large and open for maneuvering and bathroom had a sink, shower and toilet setup that was well thought out and simply just worked. I even used the pool which had a lift for disabled folks to get in/out. Had a great stay and a great time. Lovely friendly people and very helpful. My wife even pulled the bathroom emergency response by accident (looking for the bathroom light switch in the dark) and there were 2 staff members at my room inside 2 minutes to check on me. They weren't even annoyed, just happy nothing was wrong. They even had me fill out a form at check-in to address the plan in case of emergency/fire procedures when elevators would be shutdown. We agreed a plan and i got a say and signed it. I was very impressed with the whole setup. Would definitely stay again in the future. Starbucks in the lobby was a plus :-) "
