“The place was not just a hotel but a lovely venue for weddings. There was a wedding everyday. The food was delicious. The country view was very relaxing. Will definitely go back again!”

“We discovered in the morning that there were somebody else's used sanitary towels in the bathroom bin. The bin in the room also haad rubbish in it. Also the packet soap had been opened and presumably used as the packaging waas in the bin. there was no shampoo. When we complained at reception the receptionist was very unhelpful and basically got cross with us when we pushed the point showing us the QR code we could use to complain.”

“We were on the first floor so the window was so high up you couldn’t see out of it. The quilt cover was ripped at the top and had been put on inside out. The shower was ok but no instruction for use were anywhere to be seen. Staff were very helpful. It was a bit noisy at night as sound proofing isn’t amazing but good enough. The pitch of the ceiling in our room came down low enough that I could hit my head on it.”

“Room clean, staff very helpful and friendly. Kitchen is so-so more like a partial storage room, fridge not very clean. Bed was great, very quiet place, disappointed as the tv had no signal”

“Breakfast was very good and in a lovely peaceful garden. Staff in the hotel were fantastic, really helpful even under pressure. It was horribly hot the weekend that we were there (unusual for Cardiff) but they did everything possible to make us comfortable with fans (no air-conditioning).”
