“We booked the property for our second night of 4, cycling Avon and Kennet Canal. We were hoping to arrive earlier than stated check in, to make use of fridge before we set off on our bikes for the day, Alex was extremely helpful and gracious in immediately responding to our request with a yes. Everything was ready, clean and fresh, everything as listed and set out in the welcome message. Hot tub was fantastic, great after our 36 mile ride on canal tow path. “We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Stone Cottage. The location near Stonehenge and Avebury was ideal for visiting. The cottage is spacious and beautifully decorated and clean and with lovely bedding and toiletries (shampoo and conditioner). We appreciated the welcome basket of snacks. The hosts were wonderful and prompt with communication and always happy to offer any help. Would highly recommend this home. Thank you Darren and Sarah!”

“I stayed here whilst working away. The place is very clean and modern; everything looks brand new. The other review states the bed was too hard; I found it to be extremely soft. I’m wondering whether one side is harder than the other as it’s basically two single beds made into a king. The owner was friendly and helped show me round. I will definitely stay again next time I’m working in the area. The only thing I would say is with all the modern appliances in the room, a full-sized……

“Everything was perfect! La Casetta is immaculately clean, private, and comfortable. The hosts live right next door, and are very kind and thoughtful. They set up a table and chairs so I could enjoy the beautiful garden, and brought me tiramisu my last evening. I look forward to staying here again. ”
