“Good messaging with Host. We a great house! The house is dated but the beds are great. The kitchen is decent size. We LOVED THIS PLACE! All the rooms are great, perfect outdoor area. The pool is great ! This place is close to wineries and grocery stores. The views are amazing, We had no issues with the house, bunkhouse, and the pool. Definitely recommend staying here! This home would be a great place for family reunions, group getaways, We will most likely stay here again. ”

“We come to the hill country every Memorial Day long weekend and this year’s cottage rental was perfect! The location was so good for all we do in the area. The home and backyard were great! We enjoyed the back porch rockers and view after a day of visiting wineries and taking regional day trips! We highly recommend this place and the owners were very responsive and made check in and check out as easy as we’ve had! ”

“Home was lovely and spacious. We never felt crowded. Stayed here for our son’s wedding weekend. Super convenient to their venue. Julie was great to work with, great communication and very accommodating. Beds were comfy, home was clean and overall a wonderful weekend full of great memories. Would stay again!!”

“We stayed at the Farmhouse over the July 4th weekend 2025 to celebrate my husband's birthday. Unfortunately, it was the weekend of the flood in the hill country so a lot of the local things we had planned to do we could not do because of the heavy rains. “We stayed in the Roost Haus for a girls weekend and it was idyllic! So peaceful, amazing views, pool, hot tub and pond…what else could you ask for? Well, the house itself was adorable, had all of the amenities we needed and more. We enjoyed ourselves so much, and so did my dog! We caught some great wildlife pics while we were there, including deer, frogs, bees. And the hosts had exceptional communication, made check in and out very easy, just what we needed. Can’t wait to stay again!”

“We loved this property, with all its charm and beautiful views. It’s a perfect place to get away from the city life, but close enough to so many little Texas towns. We loved the outdoor space and made sure to witness every sunrise from the front porch as it’s truly spectacular. We hope to visit again!”

“It was a great experience overall. The kids loved that it was a working ranch and there were animals all round the place. Had everything we needed. I do wish there had been some curtain on the windows, though!”

“There's several gates to get to Box 3, which makes it a little daunting to get through when you're coming back from a long day. I wish it had been noted that there was no central heat or air. The space heaters tripped the circuit breaker our first night, but they were quick to address it and comped us a day for the hassle, which was very considerate. The tight, steep spiral staircase was a bit challenging for our luggage. Another thing worth mentioning is that the refrigerator is very small,...
