“We stayed here for one night while on our East Coast trip. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the room itself was very nice. The beds were comfy and it was quiet. The ladies that worked there were WONDERFUL and so helpful. It was a perfect one night place to go. It was close to the Shenandoah mountains, where we hiked the next day. Highly recommend.”

“I was pleasantly surprised for our stay. We would have stayed another night if we didn't have a time issue. Everything was SUPER clean, it was old, but taken care of. The property manager (owner?) was so super nice and welcoming. There are even chairs to sit on in front of your room so you can enjoy the night time. If you are in Luray and need a place to stay I would definitely give The Cardinal Inn a thumbs up.”

“Expansive property situated adjacent to a residential area with a very pleasant view of well-maintained grounds and the neighborhood. Great for our morning run. Elegant common areas. The breakfast was particularly well done. Clean and well staffed. Quiet room, despite a large group of highschoolers there for a School event. Hidden jam, worth checking out.”

“It is a very lovely clean apartment, easy check-in and out and a helpful host. We enjoyed our stay a lot! It is on a working farm so we saw and heard farm animals. We set outside and enjoyed the nature around, we got a visit from the farm dog, pet goats, saw fireflies and were followed everywhere by cats. Cats were the best, so friendly and cuddly! I recommend this place.”
