Over the weekend, I found myself in southern Michigan visiting family. I got to live like a local for three days! One of my favorite parts was being so close to Lake Michigan. I know the sun is over exposed in this photo, but it screams summer warmth. I cannot wait for more lazy beach days this summer.

"Great stay with tons of amenities."

"The wife and I loved the chalet. Especially enjoyed the arcade game. Played some Donkey Kong, haven't played that since the '80s. Also loved the color of the kitchen cabinets. Took pics of the cabinets and of the paint can, so we can do ours the same color. Thanks!"

"The chalet was clean! Hosts responded quickly to questions and the welcome book they left us had very helpful suggestions for things in the area. We appreciated the extra touches around the cabin like the gate at the top of the stairway since we have children. We enjoyed the game area in the garage in the evenings. We had a pleasant and relaxing family trip."
