“I stayed at this property for a couple of weeks. Positives: Housekeeping and the Central Studios team for enquiries were very helpful. Very close amenities nearby,: convenience stores, a fish and chip shop, an Indian and Chinese restaurant as well as a pharmacy. Rooms are a good size. Negatives: The rooms looked tired and need redecorating. Carpets dirty. The single room I moved into at the beginning didn’t look like housekeeping had properly cleaned it. I had raised over the weeks……

“First of all, the room was very clean and had all of the amenities one should have and expect. In the morning I could get a speciality coffee from the bar and sit in an alcove and enjoy the view of the square. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. A quaint boutique hotel. “The 5-night stay was overall comfortable, although there was an issue with controlling the temperature of the hot water shower. It would occasionally become scalding during showers. It would also be wonderful if breakfast could include some fruit. Other than these minor points, it was a delightful stay. When we arrived in the late afternoon, the reception gentleman kindly helped my daughter and me carry our luggage to the room on the 2nd floor.”

“Stayed for two nights as a stop over whilst going homeward. Wanted to have a look around the area. Room was small but adequate. Clean with en-suite shower. Ate in the dining area of the pub both nights and enjoyed the food. Informal but friendly service by all, and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Recommend a walk to the canal and then the walk to Gloucester on the tow path. It’s well paved and flat and about three miles.”
