We ate lobster on the deck that we grabbed from a local spot, grilled, paddled around the lake, saw soooo many stars and were still close enough to spend time in Acadia, Schoodic and in Bar Harbor! This place can’t be beat and really one of the loveliest places we’ve stayed at!"

"This rustic cabin is beautiful and comfortable, with gorgeous views of the lake. It has everything you need, right down to salt and pepper, travel-size soap / shampoo etc. Lots of games and books, plus good Wifi and tv (including over the air tv and Hulu access if you have a subscription). We loved the fireplace inside and the firepit outside (you need to provide your own wood but it's for sale at multiple places nearby). It's so quiet, it feels like you're in the middle of nowhere! "I absolutely love staying here! A beautiful view, so peaceful with the lake every morning. It was a save for me with the microwave and stove so I can cook dinner for myself since I didn’t want to rely on the fire for food. A dream solo vacation with just me a dog. Highly recommend!"
