"Amazingly located within walking distance to bar harbor and 5 minutes to Acadia national park. We were ecstatic to find this comfortable two bedroom vrbo with high functioning utilities and a kitchen that was well equipped for our cooking needs. The rental unit allowed us to get cleaned off and well rested after each long day of exploring mount desert. However no place is perfect, we were surprised to find out how thin the walls were; it is very easy to hear other people in the building going...

"We were celebrating 30 years of marriage. My wife has always wanted to go to Maine. I guess a lot of places shut down at the end of October, so it felt like we had the town to ourselves. Acadia National Park was awesome."

"Least crowded we have ever experienced in Acadia area. Bar Harbor was empty but even quiet Winter Harbor had services available. Next time we want to try the breakfast/lunch restaurant downstairs"

"We enjoyed our stay. Loft was clean and seemed new. Easy to fine and a central location for our visit. Away from the crowds of Bar Harbor. Not a huge deal but the bed in main bedroom seemed smaller than a queen size."

"This is a great find and perfect cost. This part of Acadia is a hidden gem. There are no Hotels and mostly a very sparsely populated place. But this property is just 2 miles from the Schoodic loop and right across a gas station and a restaurant. Would recommend and also rebook in future."

"The place was very clean, quiet, had all the comfy of home. The only thing I didn't like was the shower curtain. It let water all over floor. Otherwise I would come again and tell people about, they would enjoy their stay."

"Hot water was a bit slow to get. It’d take about 5 minutes for the hot water to even start when using the shower. Other than that, this property was very nice. Cute little cottages with everything you’d need for a hiking vacation. The owner was very responsive and nice. Great amenities on the property too which you don’t see in many other places. Will certainly book here again in the future if we return to Acadia. "

"I absolutely love staying here! A beautiful view, so peaceful with the lake every morning. It was a save for me with the microwave and stove so I can cook dinner for myself since I didn’t want to rely on the fire for food. A dream solo vacation with just me a dog. Highly recommend!"
