Only a short drive to gorgeous beaches when you turn right heading to roundstone and left towards ballyconneely. The house was really comfortable and well equipped. Living room and kitchen are well laid out together with open concept and access to the patio which wraps around the apartment! Great view of the town and the occasional full double rainbow. "We absolutely loved the location of this property!! It is isolated, surrounded by the ocean inlets. Be prepared for the narrow roads and the one lane dirt road that brings you out on the island. It is not modern, but we were not looking for modern. We had everything we needed for our 6 day stay and enjoyed it immensely."

"Lovely home with large windows overlooking the beautiful countryside. Large dining room and family rooms for a large group. Plus a nice sitting room for even more room for family to congregate. It was great to have a washer and dryer. Bernie and her sister, Anita, were wonderful and so cooperative. Nothing negative to say about the lodging experience. "This place was exactly what we wanted. Gorgeous location and views. Beach down the road is very walkable. Lots to see in Connemara. Only two of us, but there was lot of room for more. Living room had stellar views and was quite cozy. Would definitely stay here again."

"Sunnybank House is exactly as described. Highlights for our group of 18 family and relatives include: evening gatherings around the two peat-burining fireplaces with a variety of Irish Whiskeys; a very short walk to the pubs and restaraunts in Clifden, having a chef cook a delicious dinner in our own kitchen for all of us to enjoy, sightseeing all around Connemara; golf at the Connemara Links course just 15 minutes away; and wonderful pub visits out in the country...especially Paddy Coynes pub...
