Everything was clean, the staff was friendly. It is in an out of the way location, so it is very quiet and convenient for where we needed to be. They are remodeling, so there was a lot of activity and additional noise. They did try to keep it from inconveniencing the guests, but it was right next door to our room, so unfortunately we did hear a lot. My main issues were I had asked on check-in (we were there for 2 nights) for a late check out and I was told to ask the next day, and then the next day. No one could give me a definite answer, so it was difficult to plan around. I understand that they had others wanting late check out also, but I feel like I could have been given a more definite answer since we asked 2 days before. Also, I had to double check the morning of, just to get confirmation. The hair dryer kept shutting off when in use and we had to reset it constantly to use it. The electrical outlet that it was permanently connected to was concerning. The door did not close or latch correctly, so we had to constantly check that it was latched, but there was still a lot of space between the door and frame. Minor issues - the overall stay was great and we would stay here again.

Perfect location for a Husker game weekend! Easy walking distance to the stadium and lots of restaurants, shops and entertainment. We were able to park and not use our car til we left for home. Room was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable and coffee was great. Breakfast was ok.

I like the beautiful 1909 house converted into a bed and bath. The place was very well maintained and gave you the feeling of living in the early 1900s. The first floor had the formal receiving room beautifully furnished, the informal living room with leather seats and fireplace, breakfast area fridge for you to put your perishables in, and formal dining room where breakfast was served. The bedrooms were in the second and third floors with wood floors and individually set up which gave you a warm homely feeling.
