Big Mountain Views, Minutes to Wineries, Hot Tub

Nestled on 8 acres a few miles north of town, The Barn is perfect for small families or a romantic getaway. Situated adjacent to Three Sisters Mountain in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, it's just minutes from all of the fun stuff in and around Dahlonega.

Whether it’s fireflies in the summertime, colorful foliage in the fall, fireside stargazing in the winter or the springtime bloom, you have all the makings of a great vacation right here, no matter the season! Curl up next to the cozy gas log fireplace or take in the incredible mountain views on the balcony. Make snacks for the kids or prepare a celebratory meal to mark a special occasion in the spacious kitchen.

Inside you’ll find 2 bedrooms, each with a king bed and a TV. There are also 2 rollaway single beds that can be set up anywhere you’d like. Sleeps 6 people comfortably. There are 2 full bathrooms, large kitchen, family room with TV, gas log fireplace, balcony, and laundry room with washer/dryer. The Barn comes stocked with quite literally everything you need including linens, towels, soap, shampoo, TP, paper towels, cookware, dining ware, coffee maker (with free coffee, creamer and sugar), outdoor BBQ grill, free WiFi, live TV and variety of games to play.

Step outside and enjoy the covered patio with hot tub or sit by the firepit overlooking the mountains. The property borders 2,000+ acres of national forest to explore. Nearby activities include Wineries, Dahlonega Square, Gold Mines, Waterfalls, River Rafting/Tubing, Scenic Drives, Hiking, Biking, Off-Roading, Fishing, Kayaking, spelunking and more.

Great location

Father and daughter reunion what a wonderful place and great location. Panned for gold three days Ana went to Helen for great German food will make this a yearly. Property manager was wonderful

Great Barn!

My wife and I along with our daughter and her husband came up for a wedding and had a great time. The decor, furnishings, and view were outstanding. Great outdoor hot tub. The owners must live on their phones since we would barely hit send with a question and the response would be immediate! Incredibly well provided kitchen and a surprise in the second bath!

Wedding Trip

Our stay at the barn was great! We were there in Dahlonega for our daughter's wedding. We had a super bad storm the last night we were there and lost power. The owners brought us a generator and fans. They went above and beyond. We will be going back in the fall.

Beautiful and well appointed

What a gorgeous view when you first come up the mountain! The barn sits next to the big house but far enough away that you have privacy. It’s very beautifully done high-quality throughout. The kitchen is ginormous. They definitely take their coffee drinkers seriously! Both Bathrooms are well stocked. Kitchen has plenty of dishes, utensils, etc. pretty much nything you need for your stay. It is also immaculate. Very, very clean and well maintained. There are steps leading up to the living area. And the driveway is a little steep. So if you have mobility issues, sadly, this would not be the place for you. However, it is a lovely property. There are multiple wineries nearby to visit, downtown Dahlonega for meals or shopping. We had a nice girls getaway, but this would be fine for a small family or a couple as well. Definitely would recommend to anyone who wanted to see the area.

Beautiful View, tons of deer!

We had a wonderful time at this rental. The view was amazing, we saw deer just about every time we came and left the property. Everything was clean and functioning. We didn't see any bugs inside the house. We loved that unlike some other rentals with a long list of checkout instructions, they basically say leave everything as is and they will take care of the rest. We will definitely return!

Fantastic getaway in the mountains

If anything, the house is better than the listing and pictures can convey! Perfect location and stunning view, super comfortable and had everything we needed. We plan to come back again next year!

The Barn is beautiful and full of extra touches! Everything we needed was provided. The views are beautiful, we loved the morning sunrise on the deck with coffee surrounded by nature.

‘The Barn’ had an amazing view! The hosts had the home well stocked with more than I expected. The hot tub was an added benefit! The location was close driving distance to the town of Dahlonega. Many things to do close by!

Truely beautiful

We enjoyed a quick weekend stay and couldn't have picked a better cabin. The view was amazing and we enjoyed our time on the balcony taking it all in. Location was great and was easy to access. Wish we could have stayed longer but definitely hope to come back.

Amazing Spot for a Family

We just got back from our stay at the "Barn" and it was absolutely amazing. Nancy and Mike made us feel like we were long time friends.When we arrived, they had placed some fun games and toys for our boys to play with.The views from the deck are stunning. I dont think you could ever get sick of looking at the mountains. We had plenty of space in the property for two active boys ( 7) and (11). Nancy and Mike were nice enough to show us around the property. Our boys loved playing with their kiddos on the trampoline and the RC Car. :)From the property, we were able to go to the Gold Mines in town, drive down to Helen, go to the GA Aquarium, even drove to Ruby Falls ( longest drive). It was a perfect base camp for us.Thank you again for making it a perfect Spring Break vacation for us :)

Unobstructed Views, Private & Comfortable...

From start to finish, this barn-top stay is simple but loaded with quality features and finishes. The automatic gas fireplace and substantial HVAC system tempered the icy cold nights. The hot tub on the bottom floor outside was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. I thoroughly enjoyed this amazing property and the communication from the owners is top shelf.

“Paradise on the Mountain”

This place is truly a “paradise on the mountain.” Deck was amazing, hot tub awesome! Keurig with coffees provided. Fireplace was so cool! Kitchen the best!! Blankets, ice makers, the whole place is the best we have ever stayed at. You nailed it completely! Best host and hostess. Thanks.
