Cathy presented delicious breakfast which included freshly baked scones and blueberry muffins, fruit platter and omelet with either fresh brewed coffee or numerous tea choices. The historic property is beautifully furnished with many antiques and period pieces. ”

“Delightful in located blocks from the ocean in Castine. Really great breakfast, bikes available to use, good wifi. There was a power outage due to a storm while I was there and while the building didn't have a generator, breakfast was still served the next morning and I noticed very little difference to the inn's normal procedures. “The Black Horse Inn is a cosy lodging and Susan, the manager is a funny and friendly host! We were there for four days and it’s a perfect spot to discover that beautiful area of Maine. “The hotel is lovely! Our room 203 was well appointed and spacious (living area, kitchen, dining table, separate bedroom and bath). The gas fireplace in the living room was a nice touch.
