"This hotel is located in a Spanish colonial building that served as a boarding house for newly arrived Spaniards coming to Nueva Espana in the 1700s. Our room had 15' high ceilings and huge windows overlooking the street below. The bathroom was larger than some hotel rooms I've stayed in! While the amenities are very basic (weak wifi, old keys, flat pillows), the experience of staying in such a classic building outweighed any negatives. In addition, the price was very good.
