“We were here for 3 nights for the 4th of July weekend. My son was on the dock fishing most of the time and caught many. We enjoyed the hot tub and amenities of the home. I LOVE a hot shower and this place had that lol the hot tub was super nice too! The gas station is a block away had tons of food items like a small grocery store so that was nice. “The check-in was very good. The house was beautiful. It comfortably accommodated our entire group. The house was very clean. We loved our view of the lake. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. The only things that could improve is the kitchen utensils, pots, and pans. Also more comfortable sitting arrangement in the den. The beds were low to the ground and the mattresses were not as comfortable as expected. Just a little constructive criticism, but we really enjoy our stay. ”

The overall area had quite a bit of damage years ago from Hurricane Ike and the properties on this street all look to be new builds since then, or really nicely redone. “We had a great time although cleanliness was an issue. Beer cans, nicotine patches, and cigars left from previous guests, poop on the toilet with no toilet paper in the bathroom, and the pool was murky. But over all the house was great and unique. Love the layout and the boat deck was beautiful. ”
