Too expensive for what you get, a complete waste of money. I knew it was not a 5 star hotel but sometimes even the lower scale ones surprise you with cleanliness and other amenities / location. On our first day, the toilet was left visibly dirty, it had dried urine stains on toilet seat. We ended up cleaning it ourselves using the cleaning supplies and paper towels from the lobby. The pillows were so smelly of sweat and mold and the pillow cases did not smell freshly laundered to help with the bad odor. The mattress was hard and lumpy, I woke every morning with ache back. The room overall was dusty, floor crummy and dusty with a very long dusty cobweb hanging above the bed we had to remove before we could sleep because it hung so low towards are head. We weren’t even going to complain but the bigger issue came on our last full day. We left the room at around 9am locking the door and returned close to 11p to find our door ajar and unlocked. As best we can tell, housekeeping came in during the day to collect one trash bin and failed to pull the door closed behind them, leaving our room unsecured for hours with our belongings inside. They didn’t even empty the bathroom bin, sweep or clean anything. What was the purpose of entering the room? Leaves you to wonder if they just go in to snoop!

I did not realize I would be sharing a bathroom with 5 other rooms. My room had an outer wall that had tape holding wallpaper together. I realize I was in Edinburgh during tje fringe festival but it was too expensive for what I received. The one staff person I saw was very nice and helpful.

Nous avons séjourné dans l’appartement 32 et il faisait tellement chaud à l’intérieur (31 degrés Celsius!) même avec les ventilateurs et fenêtres ouvertes. Je savais qu’il n’y avait pas d’air climatisée mais de là à cette chaleur quand dehors c’était 21-23…ce n’était pas plaisant du tout pour dormir. Sinon belle situation géographique..

Brilliant location - we loved how easy it was to get to all the places we wanted to see.

It was a fantastic property and close to the city centre. We really enjoyed our stay (mother and daughter). and will stay again. Thank you.
