The Inn is beautiful but definitely needs renovation. The owner was great and helped carry our bags to our third floor room. The breakfast was good and had many options. Overall the room was worth what we paid and we had a nice stay!

The inn keeper was the kindest human being! He was so friendly and super helpful. He carried our luggages up the stairs when we arrived. He also carried them to the car when we checked out. There is a free breakfast bar and he so kind to serve us food, he literally brought us food on a plate. We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The ambiance was delightful. We highly recommend staying here and will be back!

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights while celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. We loved the idea of staying at a unique property and were not disappointed. Robert, the innkeeper and owner, was excellent and provided a nice breakfast for us, as well as, history about the mansion and Dubuque Iowa in general. While the property does exhibit it's age, it's character was everything we had hoped for. We also loved that the location was central to the downtown area and many businesses were within walking distance. We will surely stay here again when we are in the Dubuque area.
