"Love this cute little motel. I’ve stayed here 6 or 7 different times while my son was a student at SDSU. The Lamplighter Inn is consistently immaculate- honestly, the grounds and buildings are so well-maintained. The breakfast is basic but good, the laundry facilities, water dispenser,& vending machines are available 24/7 in a secure room next to the lovely, shaded pool area. Parking is plentiful and free. There are several good restaurants within easy walking distance "

"Very good place at this price. Little far from san diego but still if you have your own car its worth to stay here. Service is excellent "

"The room is clean and very well lighted and has all what we need, esp. the mirror outside of the bathroom. Room is very spacious, just right for us, not too big and not too small. "

"Stood in the bay view suite and it was really clean! One of the cleanest places I’ve stood in San Diego. Love how they have a coffee shop and food spot and not to mention getting a nice discount when providing your room number! Would stay here again 10/10 "
