“It was an unexpected surprise when we arrived to find it was like a little house minus the kitchen. It did have a small fridge. It was much bigger than a hotel room. We will stay again if we are in the area.”

“The staff person was clearly having a difficult time being kind or caring, at all. Very dismissive. Set a very bad tone for the visit. The room had a loud a/c unit and there were minimal towels. It was just a stay, it wasn’t a stay at a Hampton.”

“This place needs a complete renovation. Everything, and I mean everything, is old. The outdoor pool is cemented shut even though it's advertised as having an outdoor pool. The carpets are torn and smelly. The toilet was so low to the ground that I felt like I was sitting on the floor. The coffee maker and juice dispenser in the kitchen were broken. There was a minimal amount of breakfast food to choose from. We were extremely dissatisfied and will never stay there again.”

“Room was old. Bathroom extremely small and cracks in the wall. Caulk in tv tub showing its age. Keys to open the open were difficult. Coffee shop was more like a bar lots of liquor. Food was minimal.”

The price was a bit high but Saturday in Milford, it’s not herd to understand. The room was very clean and the property is well kept. The owners take pride in their motel. Glad I stayed.”

“We were greeted by the owners, John and Linda and given a tour and history of the building. The room that we stayed in was very clean, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice and modern. The breakfast was gourmet! Homemade waffles, bacon, a poached pear, arugula salad with kiwi and blueberries and homemade cinnamon scones with lemon curd and clotted cream! Decadent to say the least. The location is wonderful. You can walk to town with all the historic shops and delicious restaurants. We……

“Great downtown Honesdale, PA location. At check in I was told to park in the Wayne Memorial Hospital lot which is shared with the Hotel. Check in was pleasant/easy. Stairs to 2nd floor room. At end of day rush hour a bit noisy from the busy street/intersection. Room could use a thorough cleaning and some updates. Older mattress well past its' useful life. Sink water had mislabelled Hot/Cold faucets. Water had an odor? A/C worked OK but curtain blocked the flow if closed. Shower head……
