Several workers from nearby chicken plant staying there, which made it very loud in the halls at 5-6 in the morning as they were leaving for work. The pool and hot tub were covered up with plywood, sign stating under renovation. When clearly nothing was being done as the plywood had been there so long it is deteriorated. No sign of being renovated. Not worth $200 a night.”

“the road to approach is dirt/gravel so be aware. cute little cosy cabin. the outdoor fireplace is the best. everything was super clean and comfy. best stocked kitchen in a while. indoor gas fireplace did not work but host gave a small reimbursement so that was ok. linens were nice and everything was provided. not really a quiet place as there was a local barking dog and a bulldozer and a close neighbor, but, we enjoyed ourselves. ”

Quiet with plenty of deer grazing just outside the window, but only 10-15 minutes from Elijay and other nearby attractions. We had a great time and the host was very accommodating with a last- minute schedule change. Would definitely visit again!”

“Cabin not clean, no sheets on bed. Someone came to clean, we had to leave for an hour after we contacted the host. Game machine doesn’t work, kids were so disappointed. Tub in bathroom had damaged faucet. Furniture was dirty had to drape blankets over it so we could sit. Rugs were really dirty. Stayed there before and it was really nice, it hasn’t been kept up with.”

“We were locked out of the cabin upon arrival; apparently, the alarm system and lock was malfunctioning. We were eventually able to get inside, but the alarm system continued to malfunction all week, beeping frequently and always with errors. There is no Internet and no Wi-Fi to speak of; the owner installed a HughesNet satellite dish in the middle of trees; it only works if the wind blows the trees out of the way. Starlink, mounted on the roof, would be far more reliable and probably cheaper.……
