"Lovely guest house in an excellent location in Ayr walkable to the beach and town...Julie is a lovely host and cooks a tasty breakfast...Very cosy and homely i enjoyed my stay here."
"We really liked this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and comfortable. Restaurant was lovely with a great menu. A really good hotel. "
"We had a great stay at our daughters wedding all the family in one large villa but still felt part of the hotel. Cars come and take you up to the hotel whenever you wish. Or the grounds are beautiful to walk up to the hotel. All the staff we met were amazing"
"Overpriced. I honestly think this hotel charges so much purely because they have a spa and golf course, the rooms certainly don't reflect the price.

"Amazing and friendly staff, great breakfast. Friendly piece of advice : ask for room 14 the very instant you make your reservation, you don't regret it."
"Absolutely gorgeous property with the most friendly staff you could imagine. The spa facilities are incredible and amazing for a relaxing spa weekend for couples."
"The hotel was class , looked dated , which i like , but the rooms were like wow , wouldn't expect going into a hotel which on the outside , and in the halls were like walking into the late 19th century the i went into a room a basic btw , and a beautiful mural of david bowie and just transformed it into modern, was such a wow factor , the staff were like family , we went to the pub about 3 mile away , and the boss was there , talking away as if we were family, ive never felt so like home but while away , i only came on here to book again and noticed it asked for a review, honestly , if you want the marriot or the hilton , (which lets be honest all loom the same) the you wont be happy , but if you want to walk into history and get to your room with a view , and the room transports you back , then this is it, i honestly loved this place that much i phoned up rough and asked for an extra night , the town is so welcoming , the taxi driver was class , the kebab shop was class , everyone was happy , and trust me i tried to annoy people , they just go with it , an amazing place and an amazing bunch of people xxx"
"We were rather unfortunate in that a drunk older couple were through the wall to us, shouting obscenities' and making a lot of noise. George, the general manager could not have handled it any better.
I would highly recommend. "
