This was our first time staying at Aldrich Guest House, but we will definitely be back. Our hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious! A short walk to the shops, the location was perfect. We really enjoyed our last minute getaway stay.

The innkeepers had luxury hotel experience from Chicago and it showed. Place was beautiful, perfectly maintained. Service was impeccable. Breakfast was delicious. They think of everything. There are even things to purchase, like bottles of wine, even though it's a B & B.

Comfortable room, great breakfasts, and tasty drinks each evening. And, the owners were friendly and interesting to talk with. Also a convenient location - just a ten minute walk to Main Street. Very nice BnB in a very cute town.

The hosts were very friendly & interactive. The home was beautiful and the history of the house was interesting. The accommodations were perfect. We definitely liked that we could park the car and walk to everywhere we wanted to visit. Definitely recommend the Aldrich House as a place to stay when visiting Galena.

Chose the Aldrich Guest House due to location being a short walk to Galena's Main Street. Robert and Douglas were welcoming and helpful. Breakfasts both days really highlighted their creativity. Really interesting cocktails in afternoon with a blend of ingredients not always available in a bar. Afternoon appetizers and drinks were held on the patio with an excellent opportunity to socialize with other guests. Highlight of the trip was the stay at the Aldrich Guest House. Our next trip to Galena will definitely include staying at the Aldrich Guest House.

Douglas and Robert are excellent hosts and very informative about the food and entertainment options around Galena. The house was remodeled by them a few years ago and I was very appreciative of all the work they put in to get such a fine result. The original owners of the Aldrich House would be amazed at how well the place was restored. A very good breakfast was served out on the porch. My wife and I enjoyed the time we spent there Thumbs up!

From the minute we entered we were treated like family. Robert and Douglas' attention to detail is apparent in the beautifully restored building we enjoyed ,as well as the delicious breakfasts they served.
