Wake up to beautiful views of Lake Michigan from this upper-level end condo! Two bedrooms and two bathrooms make this retreat perfect for small families and couples. The deck, which has been furnished with a small outdoor dining area, is the perfect spot to admire the views of Lake Michigan and Sleeping Bear Bay. The beautiful and spacious living room features a wood-burning fireplace, a TV with cable, and a sleeper sofa. Views can be admired from the living room as well. The kitchen is complete with stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar for three. The adjoining dining table has enough space for six, making it ideal for more formal family meals. Additional amenities include an on-site washer/dryer, TVs in both bedrooms, high-speed WiFi, and two fireplaces.

Condo with a beautiful view

Nicely appointed condo sitting high up on the dune. Beautiful views of Sleeping Bear Bay. We really enjoyed the wood fire fireplace. Glen Arbor is a short drive away.

Winter Weekend

We really enjoyed the property, which was warm and comfortable. The separation of the two bedrooms makes the layout very nice. The description matches what the property offers. Views to the lake are incredible. Snowed during our visit but the property steps and parking area were cleared before we got moving in the morning. Highly recommend.

The view from the living room porch is the nicest of any place I have ever stayed. The view is to the west and we enjoyed a wonderful sunset over Sleeping Bear Point at the NP. And even the bedroom has a great view to the west.

Fantastic Views!

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. It was clean and comfortable and we loved the fabulous view of the Lake….the sunsets were spectacular! The 82 steps may seem intimidating but there are multiple landings between the flights which break up the climb. Definitely worth it for the view!

Great Lake view

The close proximity of the hiking options and local venues to this property were great. We loved exploring the area during the day and enjoying the ambience of the rental in the evenings. It is a wonderful place to rejuvenate ones spirit. The rental had everything we needed and we would enjoy returning in the future.

Well Equipped Condo With 5 Star View!

This property had the most excuisite view of anywhere we have ever been in Northern Michigan. The steps were challenging...but well worth it!

Amazing views

We really enjoyed our stay. Gorgeous view of the lake and serene location. The steps were a lot, as described, but the view was worth it. The condo was clean and comfortable. There weren’t a lot of e gras (salt, cooking oil, etc) so just be prepared to stock up on those. We would come back!

Nice vacation

Beautiful views close to everything. The only critique I have is that it was very dusty. Out side of the dust everything was clean. I would just have the cleaners pay more attention to dusting it.

Great property but way too many steps to get there!

The property itself was lovely, well appointed. Cleaning service missed several areas (track for sliding doors very dirty; floor molding in bathroom had hair (previous guests?) stuck to molding. Potential guests (esp 55+) need to know how many steps they have to climb to get to unit.

People complained about the 82 stairs. i think it is a marvelous way to get wonderful exercise a few times/day. The stunning views make it totally worth it! Kitchen is very well appointed esp for a rental. Carpet is showing a little bit of age and bathrooms are a bit tight. But the bathrooms are really reflective of the era in which they were built and not owners' maintenance or care as the flooring and shower accessories are nice upgrades. We're very likely to stay again! Peaceful lovely location.

Family wedding

We stayed for a family wedding. The property has gorgeous views! The descriptions states upper unit but the 81 stairs to the front door were a lot for my parents- that could have been more clear. If you bring luggage it’s literally 5 flights so I would suggest packing small bags and making many trips. The management company was slow to respond- which was an issue for us. Because of it we did not have internet our entire stay. But the overall set up was nice and perfect for 4 adults!

Amazing View, Gorgeous Condo

This was the perfect place for our family of 5! The parents took the bedroom with the view of the Lake! Our teenage daughter took the other bedroom, and our boys took the couch (super comfy!) The view from the balcony was PERFECT to watch the sunset and perfect for early morning coffee too! It was so peaceful in the unit! The stairs up to the unit didn't bother our active family! We will be booking again for next summer! We had a problem with one shower and Vacasa had the first plumber out possible.

Spectacular View

Really lovely condo with amazing view! Yes there are steps, but well worth it. Not at all sure why there was a review stating it needed a deep cleaning. We had no issues with cleaning. Beds were comfortable. It was tempting to use the fireplace, but really wasn’t cool enough. One would need to plan to take up firewood over time if you really wanted one. I would certainly book this again if I had opportunity to do so. The resort is a lovely property also.

The view atop the trees is incredible

I’ll start with the few negatives you’ll need to know before coming here- as others have said, the stairs are a hike, and we also found the trash hadn’t been changed and there were still wet towels in the washer and dryer. The fireplace started smoking, even though the flu was open, so I wouldn’t recommend using it or even trying to. That being said, we have been coming to the homestead in Glen Arbor for a decade, and it is our absolute favorite place. It is so beautiful, and the view from atop the trees is stunning. Absolutely recommend, just be mindful of those few things.

Comfy in the Great North Woods

Great condo! Spacious, clean, huge kitchen, wonderful balcony overlooking Lake Michigan, fireplace. Not for folks with mobility issues, as there are 80+ wooden steps leading up to unit, and no elevator. Sleeping Bear Dunes is not the easiest locale to get to in the USA, but well worth the visit.
