“Our stay was one to remember. Having meals with family and enjoying wonderful memories in such a beautiful home. The host was very kind and helpful with every need from check in to the time we left. We enjoyed the peacefulness around the property along with the scenery of nature.Our dogs constantly wanted to run around the yard. We really loved our stay and hope to go back one day. ”

“We picked this location because we had a church group of 18 teenage girls (Ages 12-18) and 6 leaders. The home was large enough to fit all of us, and the garage was converted to a huge bunk room which worked perfect. Not sure how we would've fit the description of 32 people, but it was great for our needs. The pool was a great amenity to use along with the lake. The dock provided good access to get in the lake, but it had a few nails that weren't all the way down and a big bolt off the ladder so……

“Arrived to a well stocked and finely decorated comfortable home with antique charms in every space. SO MANY PILLOWS!! Some unique items to peruse and enjoy in each room. Newly updated spacious bathrooms and kitchen. Comfortable beds (Have I mentioned? SO MANY PILLOWS!!) Plenty of bed space for a crowd of 9. May not fit a crib or playpen for smaller children. Ours were older for the beds. Quiet, close to restaurants, shopping for a small community, and entertainment. Loved the place and its……

“Outer bunk house needs better cleaning. Bugs and hair in the bedding. The split AC needs replacing. Drips on the beds. Large main house was great and fit our needs. Beautiful place on the water. ”

“Had a wonderful stay at this lovely lakeside cabin. It was the perfect size for our writing retreat. It was spotlessly clean and reasonably kept up. We enjoyed views of waterfowl from the balcony with breakfast and the sounds of the waves on the lake lulled us to sleep at night. We will absolutely book this property again next year for our next Lake Livingston stay.”

“This property is a charming 2 bedroom cottage. It was perfect for our purposes ( a memorial service for my wife’s mother in Coldspring) . It was clean and comfortable and felt very secure.”

“The tent is too hot to stay and the ac is not able to cool it down after two hours. We complained it but the site manager told us we should wait till the sun down and we should expect the Texas summer to use the facility. I believe this place should not be rented without proper equipment to make it "stayable" We left early without staying a night. ”

“The sunset view is amazing. The pool was wonderful, although it would have been nice if it was cleaned before our visit and not on the morning we left. The house moved when someone else walked across the room. There were ants on the kitchen counters and on the floor in the living room. We notified the property management right away, they said they would have someone come out, but no one ever did while we were there for five days. You can't beat the lake view, but the ants and moving house……
