Room was dirty, staff did there best to accommodate. The air filter in a.c. was so dirty room was hot due to that.microwave filthy, fridge, floors, if you want clean this would not be a good location for you. Did enjoy seeing boats in harbor. For the price I paid, 134.00 a dump.

When we arrived around 5:30, the front office was already closed and we were lucky to run into and employee who took us to our room. The room was very run down, but clean enough. No bed bugs. There were a lot of flies however, which I thought was odd. Traditional style lock and key and in a super cute part of town. It’s right down the street from base so that’s really nice. Overall it was ok.

We needed two beds close to the Cross-Sound Ferry and this ticked both of those boxes. However, not much beyond that. The rooms are dated and not particularly well-cleaned. An air freshener would at least try to hide the cigarette smell, but to no avail. We definitely had long hair in our beds that did not belong to any of us... It did the job, but I cannot recommend, unfortunately.

Parking is convenient and safe. the room was clean and the shower worked well. I didn't find any utensils in the kitchen, but I didn't need any. The refigerator was running but the stuff I put in there wasn't cold in the morning. In fact it was barely cool. But I slept well.

This motel appears to also be home to low income housing. I feared for my safety so I DID NOT end up spending the night. There was an overwhelming odor of bleach upon entering the room. There was no safety chain or dead bolt. Blinds were broken in such a way to give straight line view to the bed. That person on the 2nd floor watched me in my car for 30 minutes

Great spot for water view...Paul's Pasta next door in an institution and the area has charm if you ignore some of the run down, vacant and blighted buildings. Staff is very nice and friendly.
