"My stay at Aaron's Cottage was good, they left detailed instructions on how to self check-in once I arrived. The property itself is close to a beach in the back, close to downtown Hilo, some tourist attractions and restaurants that can be easily accessed with a car. The unit was cleaned and well stocked with essential amenities, it has an air conditioner and ceiling fan to keep the place cool. There's a communal kitchen that can be used if opt to stay in. Overall, the place is quiet and I had a good experience. "

"Quiet, end of the road, fruit farm. Most of the time you could only hear birds and frogs. Occasionally there was some farm equipment noise and mowing. Very safe. Owners live behind and there are other cottages on the property, but it is all arranged so you feel like you are the only one there. Easy drive to many things to see. Clean and comfortable. Friendly owners respected my privacy."

"We were in Hawaii for 2 weeks, and stayed at several hotels, and the Plumeria Hilo Hotel had the best room by far because ut was more like an apartment than just a hotel room. There was a fridge, micorwave, hot plate, dishes, etc. A bit a road noise, but the beach was close by."
