Wonderful Beach House!

Home was very clean and excellently maintained - I loved the setup and the pool was the best I've ever encountered in Sea Pines. So close to the beach and the screened in porch was great for reading before bed.

Excellent location, may be issues with HVAC and pool heating

Overall a great home for our week in HHI. Would have been 5 stars but the air conditioning was not working when we arrived and the pool was not heated, even though we confirmed prior to our arrival that we had paid the extra fee for pool heating. The first couple of days the pool was quite cold, and it wasn't until we requested a pool tech come out that it was fixed. I guess the lesson is if things aren't right when you arrive, ask quickly for help. On a positive note, the Vacation Company was responsive to our request.

Location and House excellent

We loved the house only issues were the pool Didn’t not have a railing as shown in photos and fix was poor. We chose this house because we had small child and seniors who need pool railing. Dog hair under furniture and in recliner, we had crawling child so that mattered. Need outlets by beds - the back king did not have. Great location highly recommend!

Sea pines

The property is very nice and located wonderfully close to the beach. It was not stocked with normal essentials such as salt, coffee filters, etc and there were some mold issues in the screened in porch that I would not expect in a “luxury” listing. We did vacate several days early secondary to hurricane Debby, and the management company was not very helpful, nor did they offer any sort of refund. I would consider staying at this property again, but will not be staying at another property managed by the vacation company.

Great Location

Wonderful location, quick walk to the beach private pool setting. Just needed some attention in the kitchen. Dishwasher crapped out at the outset and maintenance was unable to get it fixed during our week visit. No blender in the kitchen. Both overcomable issues but a nuisance nonetheless. Would recommend the place keeping in mind you’re paying for the location not necessarily the property

October beach vacation

They house was perfect for our family and 2 dogs. It was an ideal location to the beach path. The pool was wonderful (we did have it heated) and the property manager was very responsive to all questions. It was very clean and just a great place to stay.

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay at 5 Piping Plover with all the amenities that we needed plus awesome beach towels. We enjoyed the pool and the short walk to the beach and the location on the island was perfect, midway between the beach club and south beach.

Ups and downs!

The main living area, location, and pool were great! Super close walk to the beach which never felt crowded. Living area was nice and spacious. The mgmt company did respond to our issues that were all from the first days of our stay - there were sewer flies and ants in the bathrooms, stained beach towels, dirty pots, pans, and spatulas, washing machine was dirty, and a temporary shower rod in the master bathroom that kept falling. They had the master shower glass doors replaced towards the end of our trip, and the glass company left the bathroom floor dirty. I hate to be a complainer but hopefully this helps the house be in better condition for future guests. We’ve stayed in many rentals that have all been in pristine condition upon arrival so that’s what we were expecting, especially considering the price and location. Overall, a good beach house.

2nd Time Around!

This is the second time that our family has stayed at 5 Piping Plover and it's a perfect house for a family with a dog. The house has 4 bedrooms, a nice size family room and it has a nice screened-in porch that overlooks the pool. The house is less than 100 steps from the beach and the owners have everything you need to stay in and cook if so desired.

Construction

There's a house getting built right beside this house and we got woken up every morning at 8AM! But the house itself is very nice and clean. The kitchen is well stocked. A keurig should definitely be added. The trash and recycling never got picked up from the previous guest apparently and also while we were there!

Great location

This was a great house close to the beach. Very clean and a great place to stay with our dog. Vacation Company was great and we will be renting with them again. We would stay in the same house next year but we need an additional room for more family.

Very close to beach

This house is directly next to a concrete path to the beach and it was very easy to get back and forth. The beach was not overly crowded which was great! Sea Pines Beach club, Harbortown, and South Beach/salty dog are within an easy bike ride. We rented umbrellas and chairs from the shore service and they were set up by the beach path- super convenient. We got foldable low beach chairs, corn hole, and a boogie board from the VayK company and would rent from them again. The pool was nice. The management company was very responsive and we asked to have the pool heated. It seemed to make a difference the first 2 days but the pool still seemed cool the last couple of days. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen is very well stocked. Overall seemed clean except for hair on the wall of one of the showers. Overall we had a great time. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice week in Hilton Head

Great location and neighborhood. it’s in a very scenic area, close to sea pines bike path and beach which makes it super relaxing. The pool and yard are lovely and right next to house the path to beach made it so convenient. The house has a great layout and three baths and 4 bedrooms is great. i realize this is a dog friendly property but a little more TLC in cleaning would make it perfect like cleaning or replacing kitchen and bath rugs for each guest as well as bed comforters and shams. The screened in porch is great but furniture cushions were not clean and it smelled faintly like smoking. With Covid the bed covers should be cleaned or let guests bring their own. The mgmt co. was great to work with as they quickly fixed and cleaned the gas grill so we could use it.

Another Happy Hilton Head Trip

This property was great for us, our kids, and our grandkids. The location is perfect with easy access to the beach and the marina. We took bike rides to Harbor Town as well. We have stayed at HHI several times and this location was great. With the house, what you see is what you get - if it is the right size for you, you will be happy with it.

Family vacation

We had a fantastic vacation. It was perfect. Plenty of room with nice pool and very close to the beach. It was a great place to re-connect and still stay socially distance from those around us. Hope to do it again next year!
