“Good base for a couple of nights. Firstly the lady who checked us in and gave us information about the pub was extremely welcoming and accommodating. “Property has been upgraded downstairs and the restaurant and bar area are lovely as is the outside courtyard. When you go upstairs it’s apparent that an upgrade is still required. Our room - 3 - overlooked a very busy main road and the secondary double glazing did nothing to keep the constant traffic noise at bay. There are two windows in that’s room. And they are old and rotten. Triple glazed windows required. Carpets need replacing. Bathroom has been upgraded and is very pleasant but b&b……

“The outside area was tatty and needs a good tidy/clean up. There were no hand towels downstairs and only one tea towel. The most annoying thing was some of the tvs didn’t work. Apart from these points, we enjoyed our stay and the house is generally very good.”
