“Check in was smooth”

“The lady at the front desk was exceptional. She said we could help ourselves to cookies at front desk and that there was milk in the frig to go with them. She stated breakfast would be served from 6-10am and she pointed out the vending machines. She also suggested a very good choice for dinner - The Mill. ”

“Everything looked clean, and everything worked. Only downside of my visit was upon checkout, when I asked for a receipt. I was told since I booked it online, it will be emailed to me. Good grief, I need to turn a written copy in. Is it too much to let me verify..while I am there... what I was charged, and provide me a paper receipt? Not impressed!!! ”

“We had a great one night stay at Third Street Inn. My family of 5 reserved a 3 queen suite and it was perfect for us. The hotel was quiet and didn’t see very many people while we were there. My kids had the run of the place and the pool to themselves. Breakfast was fabulous and the room and hotel was very clean. My only complaints this trip would be that the pool was freezing cold and the hot tub jets were not working. Otherwise, good value for your money in an expensive town.”

“First time staying here. The gentleman who checked us in was so nice but also very professional. We were told our room had been upgraded to a room with a kitchenette but didn’t expect to walk into a room that was probably the size of 3 standard hotel rooms! Made us wish we were staying more than 1 night. We will definitely return.”

“Welcome was warm, location great yet quiet and adjacent cafe had just the hearty western steak-and-potato fare I was looking for after a long day. It's an older motel property but it goes well with the "Gates to the Wilderness" small town vibe. I'd stay here again.”

“I intentionally booked a single queen room because the picture showed what appeared to be a very comfy looking easy chair in the room. I LIKE having an easy chair in the room. However, that particular easy chair was only available in the rooms across the hall, the upgraded "riverview room". Mine did have a an uncomfortable recliner in it, but the chairback was broken. I went to the front desk and told them about it, so they moved us to another room. It did have a functioning recliner, but it……

“A very nice place with good service. ”

“For an older Motel, this is a good inexpensive option. The room was big, roomy, clean. The bed was very comfortable with nice crisp sheets. The black-out curtains worked nicely to keep out the light. Bathroom was clean and had a nice big tub/shower. Nice staff, friendly and helpful. The parking lot is big and well lit. I would stay again.”

“The cabin was absolutely adorable. Rustic but with a big screen tv that we could watch from the couch AND the bed. We're not big tv people but after a long day of driving and too late to walk the lake we dove into the comfy bed with super linens and pillows. Kitchen was perfect and a view of the lake from our front porch was divine. We'd stay again in a second!!”
