Lovely check in by the young irish lady! Very welcoming- had tea while waiting, possibly the dirtiest milk jug i have ever seen. The whole hotel is old and dated, with a bit of painting and new carpet and some interior design could have a lot more charm- comfy clean room (curtains missing multiple rings so hung all lopsided), had a shower- towels we’re in the wardrobe in the other room 😎 just odd things- it’s on the cusp of being charming but misses it… not a 4 star place as advertised, but nice non the less.

Nice hotel,convenient for town centre, room was nice overlooking garden - except there appears to be a fan/machinery unit ? above room which makes annoying humming noise in evening/early morning (didn't notice during night). Requested wake up call (0600hrs) as had early morning hospital appointment - sadly did not receive call but fortunately managed arrive in time.

Easy parking and check in. Radiator in our room didn’t work but we did have a plug in heater. Took a while to heat the room. Bar area was good. Used the pool and sauna.
