“Good food and a clean and very comfortable room. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The facilities included full spa services including very good facials and the rest of the treatments. The swimming pools were clean and were providing experiences for small children whilst rhe other pool catered for over 18s. It was a relaxed and very comfortable way to spend 24 hours catching up with my sister.

“We had a two night stay here for our anniversary. Cannot fault anything. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfast was a great experience lots of choices from cold and hot options. Lovely garden to sit and relax.
Had a lovely walk along the canal.

“This is a very old characterful property, with low beams etc. Venue was chosen for a small family reunion and everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The staff were all very polite, helpful and patient which adds to the enjoyment. The food was really excellent and thanks to the chef none of our group had any complaints, Definitely recommend.”

“Useful location but very close to the A30. Nice hotel/former coaching Inn with friendly welcome. Plenty of parking. Good breakfast. The good size double room had a kettle with coffee bags, fan, hairdryer, iron and ironing board plus large TV.
The mattress was a bit too firm for our comfort though.”

“Arrived and checked in quickly. Efficient young chap did all the preliminaries and we headed to our room. Room was in the main building at the front. Large room with plenty of wall lights and lamps as well as spot lights. Lovely sized room and bathroom. Plenty of boiling hot water as soon as the tap was turned. Beds were clean and very comfy. Room had everything we needed including a kettle which we didn’t expect. A selection of mismatched furniture but adequate for the room.
