“Lovely old pub in beautiful location, excellent breakfast, with home made preserves. The dinner menu looked very exciting but sadly we were dining elsewhere. Staff most helpful, carrying luggage and providing information. There is an onsite brewery!
The night was extremely hot, so difficult to sleep, but very comfortable bed and well equipped room. The bathroom could have done with refurbishment to the tiling and taps, but was acceptable. There is a large parking area, by the river garden.”
“Our room was beamed and the superking sized bed was comfortable. There was a very thick duvet - a bit too hot for the weather - but an excellent fan was already in the room.
Evening meal was good and a nice atmosphere in the bar and dining area. The waiter Connor was very attentive. Gluten free options are available but double check when ordering just to be sure!! Breakfast was self serve in a rustic kitchen . No GF options .
All in all , a good one night stopover and a good price. Would go ……
“Small room but well equipped with an additional fan in this heat👍
Staff very good,helpful and polite.
Excellent breakfast and restaurant very good too”
“Echte Britse Inn, goed eten en bier. vriendelijk personeel gaf ons nog informatie over de spoorlijn welke hier vroeger langs liep.
Kamers waren netjes. Parkeren iets beperkt, zeker als er veelgasten zijn om alleen te dineren. maar voor ons paste het. ook dicht bij de Malvern Showground gelegen.
Volgende keer weer!!”
“Very warm and friendly welcome by the staff, easy check in, airy, bright and a cozy as well as an inviting lounge area. A lovely atmosphere, old but elegant pub, lovely rooms, very clean and tidy throughout and the best sleep ever on the most comfortable beds!
Loved navigating to our room through various levels and a short ceiling passage. Since it's an old building, we had the room with slightly lower roof and our heads were just about touching the roof in the shower😅we loved it though!

“Lovely traditional hotel on the river Severn promenade, with large outdoor beer garden and restaurant and intimate indoor restaurant and bar. The hotel is formed of 2 buildings, both with parking, sharing the outdoor facilities.
Breakfast and dinner in the hotel were both nice and tasty, served by attentive staff.
The hotel is close to the cathedral, the Worcester porcelain museum and other historical properties. A walk on the Severn banks is also recommended.”
