“We arrived late at night which our host kindly allowed for, but his English wasn’t good so it was hard for him to explain why the room we had booked and paid for wasn’t available and we were in a much smaller apartment which was not especially comfortable for the length of the stay with questionable weather.. ”

“US Citizens here. From the Midwest, mind you. So our culture plays into my review.I'm not saying that this place is awful. In fact, it could easily be a 5 star review. But, there were enough things that brought this place down. Primarily the host.You need to understand, especially, if you're from the Midwest of the US, that the host, Massimo, comes across as a total bully. He comes across as VERY upset on small things, but honestly I think it's a communication challenge vs him being truly mean.……
