“The location is great! The hotel is historic and has a beautiful lobby. The only thing is that there is no super market in that area if you want buy some fruit or dairy stuff you’ll need to take a Uber.The restaurant is just fine .”

“Riggs hotel is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Service with excellent. The workers were attentive. When I needed distilled water that I could not find at any of the local drugstores, the Bellman went out to buy it for me. Room was cleaned daily. One of the things I like best about the hotel is it is central to all the major sites in Washington DC.”

“It would be better to specify (preferable in written) and inform the guest about the US$25 per day mandatory charge for hotel expenditure. Else, it will create grievances of the guest and conflict with front desk. The seating capacity of restaurant should be expanded especially during large conference/congress.”

“Really enjoyed the ambience of this boutique hotel! Styled in a retro theme, and carrying music records in the hotel room is a nice touch. However, there were some expected things I wish the hotel provided like complimentary water bottles and ensuring hot water for the shower. Not sure if I would book again because those things are a priority/basic thing for me, but it was nice to experience only a first time. Overall, I had a nice short stay and the staff seemed friendly.”

“ Breakfast was amazing. Location is awesome and walking distance to national mall. The only issue was that there is a club under the hotel and music was blasting till midnight and couldn’t sleep. Hotel couldn’t accommodate with partial refund as I booked my hotel through Hotel. Com ”
