“Stayed here for two nights on a solo business visit. Clatskanie is a very small town, just a couple of restaurants, very pleasant location along the small Clatskanie river, near the Columbia. Building itself is older and a standard sort of two-star motel. My room was recently renovated and had modern, pleasant furnishings in subdued greys, could have been any Holiday Inn Express or Hampton Inn out there. Clean, no complaints. “My sister and I booked the Allen House for the 4th of July weekend. We loved the property and the house is absolutely stunning. If you love old historical homes it's a great find. The owners were very kind and helpful and the food was so amazing!! We loved their dog captain and the room was very cozy and cute. The only thing I would say is that it gets very warm in the room and I like to sleep in colder rooms so that was my only complaint about the stay. Everything else was a 10/10. I would……
